Crystal Elixir - Guide To Create Your Very Own Crystal Elixir
Posted by Heather McConnell on 25th May 2021
Crystal elixirs, also known as crystal essences, are a way to preserve your crystal water so that you can enjoy a batch’s benefits for weeks instead of just a few days. They are a simple and effective way to channel a stone’s natural energy. You can also get creative with your crystal essences, adding essential oils and herbs.
How To Make Crystal Elixirs
To create your own crystal elixir, you will need:
- Crystal water (see the first article in this series, The Crystal Water Guide: How to Make the Most of Earth’s Life-Giving Energy, for instructions!)
- Filtered water
- A large jar or container
- A small dropper bottle
- Liquor, such as vodka or brandy, or cider vinegar
- Labels
First, add your crystal water to the large jar until it is two-thirds full. Then, fill the last third of your container with liquor or cider vinegar. The alcohol acts as a preservative and keeps bacteria from growing. Label and date this jar; it is your “Mother Elixir.” The elixirs derived from the mother will last for one month from its creation date.
Next, fill your dropper bottle with water. If you want to add herbs or essential oils to your crystal elixir, place them in the bottle now. Then, add one dozen drops of the Mother Elixir to your bottle. You now have an elixir that you can take on the go!
How To Use Crystal Elixirs
Many people like to place a few drops of crystal elixir on their tongue to directly receive the stone’s benefits. Dosage varies, but 4-5 drops about 1-3 times a day is a good place to start. If you ingest your crystal elixir, make sure that the initial crystal water did not come into direct contact with potentially hazardous stones.
You can add a few crystal elixir drops to your skin, body, and hair care products, like lotion, toner, and conditioner. For a luxurious and uplifting bath, add ten crystal elixir drops to your bath water.
Crystal elixirs are also extremely useful around the house. Add 5 drops to your favorite cleaning products, or transfer your elixir to a spray bottle and mist a room to raise its energy.
